New York, NY – (March 31, 2009) – On April 10th, Caleb Rowden will introduce the first single off his forthcoming summer release Until Everyone is Free. The single, aptly titled "Love Song for a King" expresses our need and longing to encounter God in worship. 'This is really just a simple song of surrender," explains Rowden. "Our worship should be a blatant declaration to the world of what God has done for us. That's what this song is all about."
This new single also signifies a step in a new direction for Rowden and his music. Recorded in Seattle and produced by Brian Eichelberger (Barcelona), Rowden's sophomore release Until Everyone is Free is an intentional effort to explore new territory lyrically and sonically. "I couldn't be more excited about this record. It says what I want to say in the way I want to say it. I couldn't have asked for more."
After tallying two top 30 AC singles off his first record, Free From Ordinary, including the top 12 hit "Made," Rowden decided to take some time off from the road. He accepted an offer to join the staff at his home church, Christian Chapel in Columbia, MO, as the Worship and Creative Arts Pastor. After more than two years of leading worship and crafting dynamic worship environments each week, Rowden is ready to hit the touring stage again. He will continue to balance his full-time staff position with his road ministry. Rowden is also using his time with local congregations to help them grow in ministry by providing training for their worship singers, bands, etc. "Through my experiences on the road and now being part of a dynamic ministry at home, I have developed a greater passion and calling to the local church. I truly believe it is the hope of the world!"
